With its inception in year 2002, MC Devices, resides in Shenzhen China, is a mixed signal IC design house focusing on consumer electronics IC components. The Company was founded by a team of oversea Chinese experienced IC professionals, who had been educated at top-notched engineering and business schools in USA and Canada, brought back to China with many years of in-depth design/marketing/business knowledge. The company was originally planned to reside and operated in Andover, Massachusetts in US. After visiting a dozen of OEM/OMD located in Guangdong province of China, Jack Yuan, the founder of MCD, discovered that up to 95% of mixed signal ICs used by thousands of OEM/ODMs were imported from Japan, US and Europe; and most of these ICs could be?re-developed with newer and more advanced processes and foundry technology, which would significantly lower the cost. China, world's No. 1 IC market, imports up to 95% of ICs it consumers each year.
Today IC components designed by MC Devices have been used in many end products such as GE and Motorola 2.4GHz cordless phones, FRS/GMRS,Sony/Panasonic wireless headphones. More and more IC devices have been moved into the mass production phase. |
